Hi,

I have an Garmin iQue 3600, like it, but the battery lifetime is
remarkably low (max 1-2 hours). I would therefore like to connect an
external battery to it when I am out in the woods. There is a plug for a
voltage adapter just besides the std Palm contact. Does anybody know
what voltage should be provided here, AC, DC and how much?

Thanks for any help!

just found a good solution on the web: http://www.pc-mobile.net/ique.htm
and:

P50AA: AA Battery Extender Box (with on/off switch) for all Palm with
universal connector
You can never be afraid of running out of power for your next long
journey with this low cost and convenient solution.
Use rechargeable (recommended) or Alkaline AA bateries x 4

This solves my problem!
