Author include route calculation grayed-out

Hello,
Am I doing something wrong?
Here is my platform:
The latest MapSource On WinXP, City Navigator North America NT v8, etrex
Vista Cx.
Everything registered and unlocked.
When I try to select the map for uploading it to the receiver, the checkbox
'Include route calculation data' is grayed-out, so the receiver can not auto
route. The transfer to GPS works fine.
Some other maps (old Metro Guide USA, third party maps) have the box enabled
and work.
Any idea?

Thanks
Peter

Does the Vista Cx support the "NT" maps?

Yes,
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=145&pID=326
And I have been using it for several months along with MetroGuide 4.
My MetroGuide covers Southern US. I used it before I purchased City
Navigator. I always loaded both maps together (Metro and City).
Now I am loading the receiver with Montana data for vacation trip, and my
old MetroGuide does not reach there. And for some reason the 'Include'
checkbox is disabled
Thanks
Peter

Really? I have the (autorouting) Metroguide 4.01
and it does cover Montana.

You might try an earlier version of Mapsource and
see if that works.
