City Navigator North America v8 309 Maps 1633 MB
City Navigator North America NT v8 63 Maps 946.6 MB
City Nav v8 fits on a 2 gig card.
City Nav NT v8 fits on a 1 gig card.

Hmm .. I'll look again. But when I tried to fit
it on a 2G card I could not. I wonder why?

Just checked and agree with your data. I must
have had something else in the load (e.g., Topo
maps); it's been a while since I did that.

since i already own city nav 8 it would be cheaper for me to buy the 2gb
card rater than buy a 1gb card and city nav 8 nt. the 1 or 2 gb chip would
work in the 60csx, right? i thought i read something that you could not put
any card in it over 512mb.

I use 512K, 1 G and 2 G cards in my 60Cx with no
problems.

Disadvantage of the 2G card is that it takes
longer to load a new set of maps. Advantage is
you don't have to very often. So if I have some
new need (e.g., I'm going to Alaska and want to
load Alaska maps for a week or two) I use the
512K card and leave the bigger ones alone.
