micro SD card for 76Cx

| I used a 2G micro SD Kingston card on my 76Cx unit. It worked alright
initially.
However after a week or so later the unit does not seem to be able to
read the card.
Suspecting that the card maybe problematic I went on to purchase a 1G
Kingston card.
The unit also could not read the card.
Now I suspect that the unit is the root of the problem, but after
reading somewhere that Garmin recommends certain brand of cards I
replace the original 512M which by the way is aso Kingston, and the
unit works fine.
My question is, if I use a 2G ScanDisk card ( I think that brand is
recommended by Garmin) will my unit be able to work with that card.
I need that high capacity card is because I do a great amount of
tracking and POI marking.
Can anyone enlighten me on this issue of compatible card.
TIA.

The brand you're thinking of is SanDisk (http://www.sandisk.com/),
but I'm using a Transcend brand 2GB card in my 76CSx with no
problems.
