Version 9 of what? If you mean City Navagator, both the non-NT and NT
versions are released and are now called version 2008.

Follow this link and have your serial # handy, it will tell you what you
need to know. This is for the CN NT2008, which is the upgrade from CN NTV8

I think you have to create an account and register your gps before you can
get to the updates page.

I just purchased the unit earlier this month and also purchased CN NT
DVD Ver:8 the same week. Have installed and unlocked the maps
everything works fine, just can't get past the update page.

It seems like you just don't wanna read what you need to know.. I won't
say anything about UNLOCKIng as it seems yours is different than ours. =
But
- If you just bought the GPS then it should already come with CN v8
- If it comes with CN7 then you are not only be able to get CN8 but you =
can
get v2008 (v9) for free without having to pay for it.
Another problem it seems like you know more than I do.
