I have a Lowrance Expedition Color, my son has a Vista CX, which despite
costing less, I like a bit more than my Lowrance. I hike in coastal
Alaska, in a fairly wooded area, where it often is cloudy. There are a
few places I lose signal on the trail, much more so when it is cloudy or
raining. How much better performance can I expect in this regard if I
were to go with a Vista HCx, in comparison to my son's Cx? Thanks, Greg.
