What are the map updates?

| Hello,
I went to the Garmin site and registered my product. I qualified for a map
update. I was wondering how they are sending that to me? Is it a CD or a
card that slides into the unit?
Also the USB drivers on the CD that came with the gps didnt work, so i am
wondering if i will need a different driver and where I can find that on the
garmin site. These were so the USB cable will charge the unit. I got some
kind of install failure when I tried it. I tried it again and it said they
were already installed and then there was a message saying that there was a
USB problem being that it was unable to identify the unit while it was
plugged into the USB port on my PC. If I cannot get the drivers for the USB
cable to work I am not sure I can do anymore updating.
I may also look into the AC charger they have for the home outlets so i can
charge it in the house.

| I'm not an expert on USB drivers, but have you tried
http://www8.garmin.com/support/blosp.jsp? Near the bottom of the long list
you will find USB drivers. Not sure if that might help or not.

What product and what maps? Typically the City
Nav products come on a DVD.

Good idea if it uses internal rechargeables.

My USB cable, from my Canon 520, fits my 330 Auto Pilot and charges my
330 just fine. You down load the updates to your computer, then load the
info into the gps.
