Merging Mapsource Files

| Is there any way to merge Mapsource files?
I can't see anything on the menu or in the help so the only way I can
see to do it is load a file, send the data to the SatNav, open another
file then receive the data from the SatNav.
There must be a better way, isn't there?
Thanks.

Yes, there is a trick, (is not included in help or so):
1- Open Mapsource
2- Open one of your files (File menue top left)
3- By leaving the first Mapsource program open, OPEN again a new
second Mapsource programme!
4- Open your file which you want to merge
5- Top Left at "Tracks" do copy the track (Edit manue, or right mouse
click)
6- Go to the first Mapsource and do Paste at "Tracks" or just in map
part (mapsource big right window)
7- When you save now the file, both tracks are stored in one file
8- You can do it also with three or more open Mapsource Programmes,
e.g. data files merging
P.S.: Let me know if you were successful
Cheers

Yes, that works perfectly and is much easier that using the device :).
I just copied a load of waypoints from one file to another. If routes are
copied all the relevant waypoints are copied as well. Thanks G.
