Nuvi 350 multiple update

| I very recently bought a Nuvi 350 for myself, one for my wife, and one
for my brother... All have v8 maps. Is it possible to buy one v2008
upgrade and copy all of my files (on internal memory) to my PC, then
overwrite the files on my wife's nuvi? It seems like $1,500 should
have gotten me the latest maps. I have thought about contacting
Garmin, but it seems like they are out of stock for the forseeable
future.
Any ideas??

How recent? You may be eligible for a free upgrade (I got one). Write
Garmin through their web site if you'd like and give them the registration
numbers.
