What is the Safe mode in c330 Garmin?

| Hello,
I have a Garmin c330 and there is a feature called a Safe mode, which is
supposed to NOT distract someone while driving. Can someone tell me the
difference because so far I cannot tell the difference with it on or off?
Also is there a way you can search for a persons address using the name
spell? I wasnt sure if that works because I wasnt able to get it to work
properly for that.
Thanks,
Al

The Safe mode won't allow you to search for poi's or make route
changes while in motion.

I'm not sure what you mean in the second one. If you choose
Addresses, and choose spell, it want's you to enter a house number,
then a street. You can't search on a address by the name of a
business or person, IN THAT MODE.
To search by name, you will have to choose the category the name is
part of and search from there.
