something a trucker would use? something easy to
see and use? thanks.

Well, let's see. You're in a Garmin-oriented newsgroup, so.....have you
gone to Garmin's web site? Did you see anything that you think he might
like?
The Streetpilot 7200 (and its brother, the 7500--adds dead reckoning) is
aimed at the heart of your application.

Thanks for posting that. We have drivers coming to our place with regular
GPS and then they can't make the turn into our driveway. It takes them over
a residential street the wrong way; even when you tell the Garmin you are in
a truck. This sounds much more truck friendly. If I was a driver, I'd
certainly have one.

| We have one of those big RV's, and have a Garmin 7200. The only downside is
that it is too large for his toad (towed vehicle). I also have a 2620 and
just bought a Nuvi 650 that we use for the cars. I like the remote control
for the 7200 as it allows me to put it on the dash out of reach while
driving.
Can't see driving across country with a GPS ... he will wonder how he got
along without it.
