How do you clear 'recent finds' on Garmin 60csx?

| When I press Find, and choose Recent Finds I see a whole bunch of junk
i want to clear. So I press Menu, and the unit powers itself off. Is
this just a problem with my unit, or can others re-create this
behavior?
Any other way to clear the recent finds list?
