I had paired my Nuvi to my Siemens S65 successfully. While the volume was
not loud enough at least it worked. I have since upgraded the Nuvi s/w and
it can still access the cell phone - dialing numbers and all - but there is
NO volume from the nuvi and the mic is not working. I have played around
with ever conceivable setting I can imagine buthave not gotten this to work
right. Any ideas?

I don't have Nuvi 360, but my Nuvi 650 has VOLUME (by default it set to
around 80-90% or so), and it worked great *if* I don't get "Phone
Disconnected"

I believe mine has 2-3 places where I can adjust the volume to MP3, Route,
and probably Phone. Twice the volume when waco for no reason then it
returned to normal loud and clear.

I have the volume set to max and even checked it while in a call. The weird
thing is it worked well then it went on the fritz. I had a phone issue -
dead battery - and upgraded the Nuvi software. I dont think it is the
phone - but can't rule it out. I dont recall all I had to go through the
first time - I do recall having to fiddle with the phone setting for a
bit - but cannot get it working now.

Nuvi connects - dials - but has no sound or mic.

Is there any chance the Internal/External setting get messed up? My Nuvi
680 has option to set the output to either Nuvi's built-in speaker or FM
(radio).

Or the BlueTooth been disabled? not paired? Well, I can only be able to
come up with what have happened to my Nuvi 680, and I only have it for few
months but already ran into those I mention above (except the Speaker/FM
selection).

The bluetooth is enabled and it is paired because I can use the Nuvi to dial
cell or browse its features.
There is no FM output in the 360 like there is in the 600 series.

I got the following from Garmin tech support which I find the ultimate
non-answer. I guess I am in a wait and see mode. I can get new phones in
march so will be better off then I hope!

thanx for your help

Thank you for contacting Garmin International,

We are currently working on some new software for the bluetooth phones.

Unfortunately we do not have a time frame on when they will be released.

One thing I would suggest is to update the software on the phone as well as
the Garmin. Please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you
with.
