Sure. Just buy the Map Update 2008, City Navigator North America NT. Just
don't buy it directly from Garmin. I saw that Amazon.com recently had it
for about $57.
I have also heard that Garmin will send you a free update if you purchased
your GPS after May 1, 2007, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I've
gotten no help from Garmin for mine.

Garmin tells me that there is no update for the unit that will fit
into it's drive unless you just load USA or Canada.. you can't have
both, so they say.

That's not a problem. Just load the USA (lower 48) on to the unit and
load Canada and Alaska on to a sd card. Works great with my c530. The
map install program that installs with the 2008 update will enable you
to do this.

Well, I have both on mine by installing the US to the Garmin directly and
Canada to an SD card.
