I'm considering installing invisibleSHIELD on my Garmin Zumo 550 to
protect the screen from scratches and contamination from sun screen
etc. Has anyone used this product, is it even necessary?

I've got one on my 76csx which is a hand held model and therefore likely to
suffer scratches on the screen. Application was fairly simple using plenty
of the supplied spray and fit is good. It has a slight orange peel effect
when viewed close up but this is ignored in use. Its been on for about a
year and has performed perfectly.

I've used one on my 60CSx for about three years and agree with Dick. I have
had no problems and am happy to recommend the product.

Good luck.

I have one on my 60CSx, and I'm very pleased with it. In fact I met the
president of the company at the recent MacWorld Expo in San Francisco,
he was very nice.

I have a simple peel on, and I hope off if necessary, bit of plastic on
my 60CSX, very effective.
