How many phones can be paired with a Garmin nuvi 370's
Bluetooth engine?
What happens when two of those phones are in the car at the same time?

(I'd like to pair mine, my wife's and my son's phone, so that
either one works, but we will also be in the car together many times)

Why not try to pair them to see how thing works? IOW, if it has option to
ADD more then it may have feature to tell them apart (?) then make a call
with 2 or more phones see how it works.

I believe you can do inside of your house.

I believe you can only pair one phone at a time.

Bluetooth can only be paried, that is between one phone and one device
at any given time. Other phones can normally be added, but the GPS
will only pair up with one.

Almost all BT devices that are meant to be used with a cellphone canbe paired
with several phones. The one that is discovered first gets the connection.

The GPS part has nothing to do with BT.

If I had a 370 already I wouldn't need to ask.

And I don't think that is what Peter meant, but I may be wrong. I believe
Peter meant to say

- Bluetooth won't limit to single Bluetooth device (some does) as he
mentioned several can be added.

- But it will only be PAIRED to single device (phone for example) as a time.
IOW, if you have 3 phones near BlueTooth (GPS for example) and it's always
paired (connected) to ONE phone, and someone calls the *OTHER* phone then
the 2nd phone won't be paired, and works as normal phone.

I know because I was about to replace my Bluetooth ear-set with one
supports 2 phones.

Well, if you said you haven't had it yet then we may suggest to GOOGLE for
answer as Google usually have much more information than Usenet. Because it
has millions of users around the world, and the topic may be available for
many years instead of days/months on Usenet.
