Ethically impared, are we? If you don't want to pay for GPS
navigation, pull together some elbow grease, go earn yourself a laptop
out of your local computer recycling collective, get an old USB GPS
receiver off Craigslist and try opennav instead. If you want Garmin,
you know where to find it, and unfortunately until they learn to
produce value from the hardware instead of relying on the software to
get 'em by and GPL it already, it's gonna cost.

That's just the way it is. If you can't handle that, convince Garmin
to change their ways or go out back and shoot yourself to make room on
this planet for someone who will. :o)
