I could tell the truth, sarcastically ... "not very well" and stop
there in my experience.
SOMETIMES I am able to find one. I do it by putting in just the
number. For example, I have succeeded in finding SC146 and SC14's
intersection.
I could not find SC9 and I77's however. I tried 77 and I77. I do not
think this feature is very well implemented.

You are right on. I have not been able to get an intersection location on
a route with an interstate. I have tried several times so as to find an
access to the interstate, but it can't find it. Maybe due to the routes
always going over or under the interstate.
Sure would be handy to have that location and also a location by exit
number.

That's because there is no intersection with an Interstate. There is
a ramp that goes to the Interstate, but no road actually intersects.
