I have the Etrex Legend CX and the manual says "Battery saver" mode
looks for the satellites every 3 seconds versus every one second with
it off.

From what I gather the 60 and 75 models are identical electronically,
so this information should equally apply. Maybe Jack Erbes will be
along, if so you will get a definitive answer!
