60CSx and City Nav NT 2008

| Hey everyone,
I just bought the City Nav and started working with it in Mapsource
for the first time. I bought the Sandisk 2 GB microSD card so I could
load the entire map into my GPS; no problem as the complete set is
just under 1 GB.
The problem I think I have is the "Include route calculation data"
check-box at the bottom of the Maps tab is greyed out. As far as I
know, my GPS has the auto-routing function. Does this mean that the
data will be included or that it sees my unit as not able to use this
data?
BTW, I did the software updates and I used Webupdater to update my
unit already.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You've got the route calculation data. NT removed the choice, making the
autorouting data transfer mandatory.

You have it unlocked and are seeing the details right?
And do you have any maps selected yet? If not, zoom out until you see
the entire U.S., choose the Map Tool, and click and drag from the top
left to lower right and it will select them all.
The route calculation data check box will not activate until you have
some maps selected. But you do want to have that box checked.

Thanks Jack, I have done all that. I believe Klatch has it right
although I have no further proof but it does make sense.

Same here on CN 9 NT and MapSource.
The check box is greyed out allways. But my etrex HCX works fine when using
autoroute on the unit itself.
I think the routing information is allways transmitted to the unit.

Oops! I stand corrected! It looks like that is only for the non-NT
version. I've not used the NT version of CN yet, as long as my 2610
and 2620 continue to work I'll have to continue buying the non-NT version.
