I can't get my Garmin nüvi 200 to connect to my PC!
My PC has WinXP SP2, USB2.0 and 1.1.

When I'm connecting the device to my PC with a USB-cable it's not being
detected by the PC. Not as an external drive, not at all!
The same cable works when connected to a memory card-reader.

It charges it's battery when connected and there's a low, buzzing sound
coming from the speaker.

Things tried without success:
-turning the unit off, reconnected it, turned it on
-turning the unit off, rebooted, turned it on
-connecting it to both an usb1.1 and a usb2 connection.
-bypassing my usb-hub

1. Is the buzzing sound indicating some malfunction?
2. Is there something else I should try?
