| The basemaps are notorious for poor accuracy. I doubt that the basemap is
made from the Navteq database. I haven't looked at the eXplorist files, but
none of the Meridian or Sportrak basemaps are from Navteq data.
The detailed map programs like DirectRoute NA do use the Navteq data and are
very good. This is the same map data you'll find on many car GPS systems and
mapping websites (like Mapquest).
