Magellan GPS - Software will not reopen

I have Mapsend DirectRoute Europe and Mapsend Topo GB installed on my
computer. I can open either and it runs OK. If I close it then neither
Program will open until I have rebooted the computer, Anyone got any ideas
why?
I have no problems with any other software including Fugawi Mapping

Mapsend is a memory hog. If there is not enough free resources available, it
refuses to open. Try this. Run the first program, close it, then try and
close as many other open apps as possible. Don't forget about all those
little icons down in your task bar. Then see if Mapsend will fire up again.
