Author can't find WAAS

Dumb question time:

I am located north of Albany NY. Up until fairly recently I had good WAAS
coverage. Now neither of my GPSs (Magellan meridian and explorist 600) can
get a WAAS correction, although they do register strong signals from a WAAS
source once in a while.

I know there has been some repositioning of WAAS birds lately. Is this the
source of my problem? Anyone got a link to an explanation?

Many Thanks.

Yes,, with the inmarsat 3F4 Sat. ID 35 now at 142W the eastern USA
left in the dark, so to speak!! But don't dispair,,,, there are
now 3 new birds up that are going through their testing mode:

inmarsat 4F2 ID 34 @ 53W I haven't seen any signals from this
one yet!
Anik F1R ID 38 @ 107.5W signals some times!
Galaxy 15 ID 48 was ID 36 for a while @ 133W signals most of
the time!

the new birds give hollow, or gray bars for now!!
I think they are all scheduled to be fully on line by this fall?????
