My new Explorist 400 finds satellites quite quickly, IF told where to
start looking. If you just turn it on after moving 1000 miles (or
erasing memory), then it might take a while to figure out where it is,
if at all. My older 315 unit often can't tell where it is, and thinks
it is in Africa. Then resetting and doing an initialize is required to
get it straight.
