Author Meridian Gold is it possible to have it repaired?

I have a Magellan Meridian Gold that has failed after two years or
so. Batteries are OK, external power when hooked up is OK. The GPS
however is totally zonked.

It appears s though Magellan is zonked also. I've contacted them
at least 8 times at their internet support address and explained the
problem. Inspite of telling them I'm deaf they keep referring me to
a tech telephone line.

I'm 70 years old and would rather be fishing preferably finding my
favorite flling hole with the GPS. I get the feeling that they could
care less.

If your GPS broke tommorrow where would you go for repair?
Thank You

I needed a new LCD in mine. I had to end up buying another unit. I
could not find any economical repair options.

How much for your broken unit? I could still use the LCD.
