Roadmate 300 - Too Many City Choices

I have a Magellan Roadmate 300 with a Card loaded with the Northeast
United States.

When I type in a street name, there may be 20+ Cities that the street
exists in. Using the Magellan Desktop Software, I can easily see the
list of Citys and Townships and choose the correct one. Why isn't this
an option on the Roadmate Unit itself? It becomes very frustrating not
knowing the appropriate City and/or Township to type in. If I were
able to "see" a list (like the desktop Software allows) this would make
it much easier.

Am I missing something? Is there a work-around that I am not aware of?
