On the route screen there are two icons: map and home. I cannot figure out
how to use the home icon. When I select it it asks if I want to enter my
home address. If I select yes and enter the address, it finally gets to
save. Seems like the next time I select it, it should put in my home
address, instead it asks again if I want to enter my home address. How do
you use this button?

I haven't gone back and read my manual as I should have but....
I installed a SD card and it saved my data as you described above.
Just a stab in the dark.

I couldn't find anything on it in the manual. I do not have a compact flah
card. Maybe that is it.

I saved my address and each time I click the icon it ask me if I want to
route to it or change the information. It should be saved internally not to
the "cf" card. This is true both with my 700 and my 760. I know this may
sound silly but are you sure you are saving once you enter the address?

Yes, I do save it. Will try again.

Thought I was missing something. Tried again. Said save, but nowhere to be
found. Do you have to do anything special to get it to work?

I got it to save. You have to besure there are no references to this
address in your address book (ie. addressbook, favorites, or previous
destinations). It then saves fine.
