I turned off my computer while updateing the firmware on my Meridian Gold
and now it wont power up. I tried new batteries and alternate power but
nothing happens. Is there anyway of re setting the memory?

Thanks

The Magellan FAQ at the following link has the "secret key strokes", I
think the forced power off (Goto Esc Enter) and then power on key will
get you out of that. There is a lot of good info in that FAQ:

Robert Lipes has a lot of good info on the Magellans at this link:

You are toast. Call Magellan for service.

email or call Magellan. 99 percent sure you are going to send the unit
to them for service. That is if they even still service the Meridians
anymore.

Good luck.
