Meridian Gold wont boot up
|
|
|
| I turned off my computer while updateing the firmware on my Meridian Gold
and now it wont power up. I tried new batteries and alternate power but
nothing happens. Is there anyway of re setting the memory?
Thanks

The Magellan FAQ at the following link has the "secret key strokes", I
think the forced power off (Goto Esc Enter) and then power on key will
get you out of that. There is a lot of good info in that FAQ:

Robert Lipes has a lot of good info on the Magellans at this link:

You are toast. Call Magellan for service.

| email or call Magellan. 99 percent sure you are going to send the unit
to them for service. That is if they even still service the Meridians
anymore.
Good luck.
