Help with transferring maps to garmin

| I'm trying to transfer maps to my garmin etrex vista C.
I'm transferring from the Garmin City Navigator CD, using Mapsource.
However, whenever I transfer the maps to the unit, it forces my etrex
into DEMO MODE and I can't get it back to normal mode unless I enter
test mode and then erase all the maps from the device.
>From earlier posts, I believe the DEMO mode must be included in the
maps presents in the device. How can I get rid of the Demo mode???

You'll most likely get better response if you post to the
Garmin-specific newsgroup, alt.satellite.gps.garmin.

Sounds like you haven't UNLOCKED your maps.
