I recently bought an RV and want to mount my Nav750 .
I need a longer cable for my antenna. I called my dealer and they want 90
dollars! (This does NOT include installation!). Where can I find an
extention? It uses the SMB type connectors.

Thanks!

Here is one place:

And look on eBay. It might be just as cheap to buy another antenna with
a longer cable. But you definitely want to get an antenna that has an
amplifier if it is a long run.

I've never seen a GPS receiver that would not get an adequate signal
with an external antenna laying on the upper part of the dash, at the
junction of the dash and the bottom of the windshield. Are you sure you
need that much of an extension?

Or run it out a wind wing or across a door frame and stick it on
something (use double sided tape if non-metallic).

Have you tried it in the RV yet? I have used 3 different GPSR's in 2
different Motor homes and no external antenna was needed. Most RV's
have rubber or fiberglass roofs and this does not block the signal.
