Author BaseMap europe for Explorist XL ???

Hello,

I've just bought an Explorist XL but it was delivered with the american
Basemap. Does anyone know where I can download the Europe BaseMap (I'm
from France). I'm also looking for the leadmap (aviation), topo and
direct route.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Here is a good place for more info on the eXplorists and their mapping,
I'm not sure it answers your questions but might be a good start:

Unfortunatly I don't find what I'm looking for...
Moreover, Someone tell me that the NA explorist is not compatible with
the european basemap...
Does someone know if it's true ?
Thanks a lot.

If you are not aware of them, I'd suggest that you try posting your
questions on the Yahoo Groups that are dedicated to Magellan GPS. Here is a
link to the one that applies to European Meridians:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/merid...yguid=253251881

There are also ones for eXplorists, Mapsend software, and other Magellan
stuff. You can find links to the European basemaps for several Magellan
units. I have not seen one for the eXplorist XL, but they can be found for
the other eXplorists. I don't know whether the map for the 400-600 will
work in the XL. I do know that you can put the European basemap (for the
400-600) and DirectRoute Europe in a NA eXplorist 600 and everything works
fine. Obviously, NA 600 also will operate properly with the NA basemap and
DirectRoute NA.

I hope this helps.
