My 2200T is running firmware v 1.72.18 (the new one)

Has anybody un-earthed any information for the use of the new category
"Waypoints" -- how you add them and how you use them. Are the
different from an Enhanced POI?

With my old Garmin 2610 Street Pilot I could have 500 and I used them
frequently and would like to do the same with my new 2200T.

I keep hearing this answer: The new icons are to be used with the
crossover update: Maybe someone with a crossover unit can say if that
category is displayed.
