| Magellan does not have any in stock, anyone know of any web dealers that
have one?
THX in advance
Paul (still pissed that 2200t does not display town names on the map)

Jack THX for the reply but RamMount does not supply the cradle, only the
parts that attach to it.... I have on order Ram Mount handle bar
components for my motorcycle but without the cradle I am screwed
I cannot recommend to anyone to buy this Magellan product:
spare parts are unavailable
the maps do not display town names(totally inexcusable IMO)
some really bizarre routing sometimes (especially highways in
Canada)firmware 1.72 installed
I had hoped that the 2200T would make for a great motorcycle
GPSr...water resistant, priced right, large battery capacity, touch
screen etc....with the advent of the cheaper Garmin Zumos, thats where I
am heading...no Magellan goat hunts on this one...straight to Garmin!

Write them in Hindi, maybe they will get more notice.

Thanks for pointing that out Paul. I had missed the point that the RAM
mount just attaches to the Magellan cradle. I'm using a couple of
Garmins that snap into cradle that RAM makes for them.

Have you checked Magellan's Web site? They have several accessories for
the 2200T - http://www.magellangps.com/products/accessories.asp

| I had the same problem. The cheap little plastic clip that you press to
release the cradle from the unit broke. In order to replace it, I had to
buy the entire cradle and mount assembly for (I think) $40. Maybe if enough
people complain about it, they'll either make the part better or at least
offer only the weak part as a replacement. I raised heck with them and
tried to get them to replace it under warranty since the part is obviously
defective (poorly designed), but got nowhere.
