I am having an issue of late not with my RoadMate 800 Unit itself, but with the DVD-ROM that
recently arrived with Update 2 of the maps etc. I purchased it, and it arrived shortly therafter....

But it doesn't work.... It's not even readable by any of the machines on my SOHO network. All
of them are XP or above with SP2 per their instructions. I keep getting CRC errors or other
errors that indicate that the disc is not readable in the drive. The closest I've been able to come
to reading it is with Win Server 2003. I can even get the *.exe to run on occaision with Svr2003,
but it can't seem to read anything else on the disc and keeps crapping out. XP won't read it at all.
It keeps hanging or giving me "Can't read file X" errors or "Abnormal Termination" errors etc.

I called Tech support in India twice today. Each time, I had to go through the beaucracacy of giving
all my info, the serial #, the PO for the DVD order, etc. etc., and their only course of action would
be to send me another DVD (which if it's the same as my original, won't work either)....

UGGGGGHHH! Is anyone else having this particular issue and if so, have they found a workaround?
Would anyone know if this particular update is available for download somewhere?

Thanks.
