| Hello,
I bought my Magellan Roadmate 2200T refurbished and love it. I noticed that
only a couple of months ago an update to the map is available with a new
appearance. However, I am not particularly fond of the price $79.99.
Anyone know where to get an update cheaper?

Since the updates are keyed to your unit serial number I doubt it.

I'm in the same situation as mine is less than a month old and I don't
think that I can get an upgrade from them. I emailed their support and
they danced around the question.
Any other industry would help support their customers on new units and
possible upgrades.
I'm pretty disappointed with them at this time.
Also I found that the MP3 player is a stand alone application on the
unit. I can't use the player at the same time as the gps.
They don't say that in their literature.

It's called the Magellan Mambo. Kind of an East Indian beat to it.

Hold on to your panties; you haven't seen anything yet.
