Hi Katievol,

Just downloaded it and installed it. This is the "most response"
I have received from my phone/data cable combination, but E815
is not one of the selections from the list. I was able to download
a listing of files, but was not able to manipulate any of the
data. I'm beginning to wonder if Verizon has data capabilities
locked out in firmware....

What I think I'm looking for is some software that will take a
..WAV file, and transform it into a compatible rington that will
work with my E815, then I can e-mail the file to myself via
text/file messaging. I've done this with several ringtones that
I downloaded off the internet, but not with a "homemade" .WAV
file. I found software that converted the .WAV file into an
..MP3 format, but my phone will not allow me to save the file
as a "ringtone" in either WAV or MP3 format. I tried making
sure to set the sampling rate to 11025KHz and the bitrate to
8 and 16 (tried both) stereo and mono (tried both of these
too). There must be some "bit" that must be set to inform a
phone that the sound file is a ringtone, and not an ordinary
sound file. I don't know what that bit is, or what exactly
it is that my phone is looking for.

Thanks for the tip about BitPim, it's pretty neat! I just wish
I could get full functionality with my phone!

Thanks, -Nunya
