Author 02 2nd part of txts not coming through on time

Hi,
I'm using 02 and for the last 6 months or so I've found that if someone
sends me a long text (over 1 txt long) the first part comes through fine
but the rest won't come through until I send a text or make a call. Its
like the rest won't come through until I use the phone. I had a K700 and
read 02 had had problems with the k700 and txts but its still happening
with my new W800. Anybody else have this or is there a setting for this
or something?
Thanks
Jared

I've had this same problem on several networks other than o2. Sometimes it
can take several hours for he message to "update" with the second part of
the message.

I've never found an explanation.

My method of "forcing" the second part to "download" is to switch my phone
off and then back on.

Not an answer to your problem, but hope this helps.

Thanks for that at least I know its not my phone. Now I've got a second
option for when I get tired of trying to think up new texts to send just
to get the rest of my old text to come through.
