Just tried dialling 100 from my newly acquired O2 online contract sim,
to be met with a recorded announcement saying that I have to ring an
0870 number for customer service ...

Mmm - what if I did want the UK Operator for help with a call or
something ?

From memory dialling 100 from my other contract sims (Orange & also my
other O2 'retail' contract) I do get the operator ...

Anyone know if O2 online are obliged to provide access to 100 -
Operator Services at all ??

Cheers

Jim

What do you mean by the UK operator..? There is no such thing; BT provide
operator service, as do Telewest and I assume other cable operators, and
also Orange do. I don't know about other mobile operators, obviously O2 do
not provide this service.

Whose operator..?

There is no such thing, each telco provides operator service at its
discretion. BT is probably obliged to do so, I don't know, but I doubt
others are.

Vodafone no longer provide operator services via 100. I am sure Orange
will simplify there operator soon too.
