It seems that the 6630 is the phone to go for.

However it lacks a FM radio which I really need.

However I've no idea what this TomTom stuff will cost. Are there any
alternatives ?

Are you on contract right now? If so then an Orange SPV-C500 can be
got on Ebay for around £100 new if you look hard enough. The C550 is
available on Orange PAYG for £130 with a 512MB memory card I think,
and you can use TomTom on either (though you may need an update or a
patch to use it on the C550).

If you're looking for a contract then I personally think it'd be hard
to beat the T-Mobile web'n'walk offer of the MDA Compact (I have one)
with the route planner software included or the SDA II (free and also
available on the cheaper plan). I've used TomTom on my MDA Compact
with a BT GPS receiver and it worked a treat. Just wish I had the 40MB
of data that T-Mobile throw into the Web'n'Walk tarrif.

As far as radios go - had one on my 6260.....rubbish and didn't
realise before I got the phone that you could ONLY use the radio if
you had the wired headset plugged in as it used that as the aerial.

Great reply

Yes I am Orange at the moment.
Does the Orange SPV only work on the Orange network then ?

I have a friend who has the MDA Compact (and it's a lot smaller in real
life than the photo's do justice for)
