Could anyone recommend a Bluetooth dialup modem I could use with my Treo 650
to access the internet and collect emails etc I will be travelling so it
will need to work abroad as well as in the UK?

Why not just use the Treo's own internal modem?

When abroad it is much cheaper to access using a local ISP and dialup that
International GPRS.

It's not something I've heard much of before. Had a look round the net and
the main one I saw mentioned was the BlueGate Bluetooth 56k External modem.
Lots of sites were broken links but one that still sold it was -

A bit pricey though - £85!

Ah - that seems a much better price! Would have though it would work as
long as the Treo supports standard BT profiles (I know some US carriers
crippled their smartphones so that users couldn't properly use BT). Perhaps
you could try e-mailing Zoom directly to see if they have tested it with the
Treo?
