Is it possible to connect a nokia 6680 to a laptop using a nokia cable, and
browse the net, pick up e-mail etc using the 3g connection ?

I seem to be able to do it using the gprs or dial-up connection, but not 3g.
Help with this problem would be appreciated.

It's not only possible, but easy.

Which network are you on? All of the software needed to do this comes
with the 6680 - have you read any of the manuals?

Thank you so far. I have a Vodafone 3g contract. It doesn't appear to be in
the manual.

It won't be. Nokia Datasuite takes care of it all.
