How about that then?

| I rang Orange customer services earlier (on 150 option 4-3), asked for
a PAC, and they sent it to me by text. That was it. No attempt to
retain my custom whatsoever. Had I thought there was a chance Orange
would be able to match the deal I've seen I would have been sorely
disappointed.

What's your average monthly spend? If it's low they won't bother trying to
keep you.

| Yup - sub =A320 most months. When I last tried it 18 months ago (with
the intention of staying) I got what I was after though - a T610i and a
move to a YP-direct tariff that was only =A315 pm - hence the low spend!
I didn't really expect them to be that desperate to keep me, but after
9 years it would be nice if they at least asked...

Same for me yesterday. I've been with Orange since 1997 but they've gone
downhill so fast their skis must be on fire.
Come back Hans Snook, all is forgiven........

Rang Orange Small Business Support today, told them that T-Mobile had
offered me an MDA Compact (SPV m500 equivalent) for free, with 100 x-net
mins, 40MB of data, for £15 a month.
Their response - oh, you'll have to pay £50+ per month for a free m500.

By contrast I rang O2 customer services a couple of days ago asking for
PAC, and they offered me 500 x/net minutes/month for 15quid/month plus a
free Motorola V3.
I spend about 20 quid/month atm.

I couldn't care less about so-called "free" phones (there's no such thing,
you pay one way or another) - I want all the services back that have gone
or are soon to go, like Wildfire, Every Phone, free 0800 access etc. that
made Orange *different* and *better* than all the others. The only thing
they have left is Line 2, how long before they "simplify" that, I
wonder..?

Looks like they've gone the T-Mobile way looking at the long list of
disappointed people below.
Now if only Orange would provide the reverse charge spam message
barring like T-Mobile do...
