Motorola bluetooth

| Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I am not a regular visitor
to this NG.
My wife and myself both have Motorola phones (hers a V3, mine a V635) and we
appear to be invisible to each other via bluetooth even when in discoverable
mode. I can link my Palm PDA and PC to the phones but the phones fails to
discover any nearby devices. Can anyone please tell me what, if anything,
we are doing wrong!
Thanks

I think you may find that the phones will only discover headsets. They
don't have stuff on them like object transfer etc.
If you want to transfer stuff, install the software which came with your
wife's V3 on your computer. You will also need a bluetooth dongle or
V635 datacable for the V635 to be able to work (I would recommend
bluetooth)

Usually Moto's are only discoverable for 30 seconds, this makes it a bit
of a pain if you have too many buttons to press on the other device.

If you want to transfer pictures, mp3's etc I think you can browse to
the item then use COPY and it gives you option to send via bluetooth
(object exchange) receiving handset needs bluetooth ON and
discoverable. (works on my wifes V600 which I believe has very similar
software to these handsets. If it's contacts you want to send then
there is a send option in the menu under contacts (or copy onto sim and
transfer that way if phones unlocked or on same network)
