MDA Pro very slow reading database SQLite, displaying PIE

hello gurus:)
I have got the PDA Pro lately and wanted to run the the application,
that works fine on MDA III, MDA II, MDA, Pocket pc etc.
However when I start my app on the MDA Pro it is veeeeeeery slow.
Shot description of my app.
app -> DLL developed under eVC40 sp3
the DLL uses the DB -> SQLite single file.

How it works: the DLL makes a select in the DB. Than processes the data
to become an XML tree and than uses one of the XSL stylesheets to
display the HTML result in the PIE. What I've used so far is the msxml2
functionality, because as we all know this was the only thing
supported.
Now the MDA Pro seems to have msxml3(which I haven't tried myself out
yet), so can that be the reason of the slowliness. It is really
frustrating.
Any suggestions??
