Hi All,

I'm sure this is a pretty routine question, but I did a google search
and couldn't find anything concrete.

If I send a MMS message (o2 online tariff), I get charged out of my free
messages, and it connects over GPRS. Do I then get charged again to use the
GPRS? doubt I do, but thought I would check!

As for not being charged for GPRS with O2 online ..... I've not been
charged for it either but after doing a bit of research it looks like
I'm likely to get charged for 3 months worth on my next bill. Dont
assume that its free otherwise you'll likely get stung with a large
bill.

You say that - I've been with O2 since Feb and never been charged for
GPRS. Which of course is worrying....

No, the data transport costs are free.

I've been with them since March and would like to think that I will
never be charged for GPRS usage but very much doubt that O2 are willing
to let customers get it for free. I'd like to continue using it as
though it were free but dont want to get hit with a massive bill in a
few months time.

Everything you download has to come through their servers before it
gets to your mobile, so they must have a record of how much you've used
...... or maybe they dont! Either way, I'm sure they are aware of the
issue and, seeing as they are losing money, are on their way to fixing
it.
