I'd also be very intrested to know your source, I called Orange and
asked and they advised me it wasn't even on their list of phones being
tested.
It would also follow suit with the fact they never released the 8850,
8890, 8810, 8910 or 8910i. They seem to have missed out these "premium"
phones alltogether.
Pretty annoyed I had to send mine back to vodafone though because it
wouldn't vibrate, and when it did it sounded as though something was
loose in the phone. Oh well, awaiting for the delivery of a new one now.

Erm.... hides behind the sofa
The shop manager told me to wait until the end of August before
upgrading 3 of the phones on my account because there will be 3 new
handsets coming out Two were definate, and one of them was the 8800
---

The 8800 is not even on the list of phones in review, as already stated
by another poster. That'[s not to say it will never be released, but at
this time it's extremely unlikely.

| Same as tmobile who never released any of those phones. I dont think
there is anything wrong with your 8800, to the poster that sent it
back. Its a known issue of the phone rattling like the houses are
falling down. It seems to be a factor of the vibration rattling on the
metal casing.
