Help unlocking Nokia 110 orange PAG
|

| Help please, I have a new nokia 1100 orange prepay handset, tried using
crux (code 7 first then code 1) both gave code error, is there
something I have missed or should I be changing the default settings (I
have used crux to unlock my nokia 6230 on vodafone so have some idea
what to do though obviously not enough) Searching for help only gives
info on lock to virgin not specifically orange
Looks like it is GSM stock packaged with orange sim with a new barcode
sticker over the original product barcode.
>From label on phone
Type RH-18
Model 1100
>From label on phone box
Item 0077205
Did originally post IMEI but not sure if safe or wise to do so, so
thought better.
Any help from "the experts" appreciated

You are a Legend, code 7 on trycktill worked a treat (was the 5th
attempt too having tried crux (2 tries codes 7 and 1 using default box
serials)and DCT4 calculator by cyberdog (2 tries codes 7 and 1)
Trycktill says they are "Prodigy" box serial, the code on crux using
prodigy (#pw+933912061131525
+7#) was not quite the same as the one on
trycktill (#pw+943912061131525
+7#) 1 digit different would this have
still worked??
How in future do you know which box serial to use?
Sorry if dumb questions, although not new to mobiles I am new to
unlocking.
Thanks again=20

It's almost certainly unlocked already.

It was locked, I obviously tried different sim in phone to start with
and it was having none of it. It is now unlocked as stated above and my
brother in law is quite happy with it on O2, replacing his very aging
3310.
Orange themselves (ie orange shop/retail/website may well not offer
this phone but it is available "on orange" =A324.99 from phones4u, GSM
box but with orange sticker on it and orange pay and go simpack inside
box. (i presume it's a deal cobbled together by their handset supplier
20-20 logistics rather than "approved" orange direct stock.
