Expecting a call as I've just requested pac codes for 2 anytime200 accounts
which are to hit the 12 month mark.
I haven't dealt with the retention dept at vodafone before....

Is there anyway of knowing what sort of deal they may offer me?
I don't necessarily need new handsets but would take a new 6630, 6680 or
S.e750 if offered but should I even mention being flexible?

Is it best to say I'm going to "Three" via one of the
e2save/onestopfoneshop/livetelecom deals out there at the moment?

Is there any phone/brand or tariff they tend to push more than another?
I've seen people on here talk about getting a GSM handset, what does that
mean?

How is their 3G network going, is it worth looking at?

Thanks for any advice.

well I got a free 6680 and 2 months free line rental when I said I would
leave, my month spend is about £100. They aren't the best, but you might get
somewhere.

I've found there 3G signal OK and I like tha handset too.

Thanks for the reply, managed to get a couple of SEK750i with 200 anytime
mins and 50 txt.
They halved the line rental for 12 months to £15 per month.

One black and one silver which I'm sure will be branded but I think Im
pleased with the deal.

You have done badly out of them. My brother spends around the £40 mark a
month, and he got a free 6680. Looks like all you got above that was the 2
months free line rental. However my brother has been with vodafone for
around 7/8 years.

If I was spending around £100 a month, I would have asked for a lot more
than that, at least 6 months half price, and then whack it up to the highest
tarrif (£75 a month, of which you pay half still cheaper than what your
paying).

Always worth saying your moving over to another supplier i.e. O2, T-Mobile,
thats always gets them interested.
