I have asked before but had no replies. sorry to ask again

could I have some negative or positive responses if any one has any
issues surrounding a K750 and G2 Bluetrek headset as I
cant get any volume out of the headset BUT it works with my PDA.

It also rings out of and I can speak to the caller so its paired ok
its just a recieving volume problem.

As I say its fine with my PDA and all points to the phone. ,

When I first spoke to orange the guy said in his opinion there IS A
COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM but as Orange must send out thousands of these
packages the sales guy who I spoke to in an attempt to get a new head
set supplied stated there are no issues with the headset and the phone
must be duff!

can any one shed any light on which guy is right please??

Regards Andy T

OK bear with me on this one as i'm not a real techie.

I own a K750i which has BT (as you know) I also own a Tom Tom Sat Nav which
also has BT on it. The BT is used to access data for live traffic info,
weather reports via GPRS and it also transfers your phone no.s from the
phone to the Tom Tom. The reason for this is that the Tom Tom allows you to
make handsfree calls from the Tom Tom screen and your mobile via the BT
connection. This all works wonderfully ie they both "pair" and I can dial
out to friends and if some one calls me the "Tom Tom" rings - HOWEVER I
CANNOT HEAR A WORD THEY SAY AND i CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING THEY SAY ;-((((

This is supposed to be down to a BT standards issue that SE are aware of
(reports even of their OWN BT headsets not working properly too I think)

The K750i uses a NEW BT standard (2.0) and the Tom Tom uses the old 1.2 ver.
This should be backward compatible but alas it seems not.

There certainly IS a problem with Tom Tom and it sounds very similar to
yours. Just to add I tried the Tom Tom with a Nokia AND SPV 500 and they
both work perfectly.

Hope this helps
